National Youth Jazz Collective President - Dave Holland

Welcome

A new and vibrant National Youth Music Organisation, funded by Youth Music and currently parented by the Foundation for Young Musicians, designed to support the creative and educational needs of the young jazz musician through regional outreach projects and an annual National Youth Jazz Summer School.

Everyone at The National Youth Collective is delighted to welcome David Holland as our new President. We're thrilled to be working under the guidance of such a great jazz luminary and are very much looking forward to working in partnership with Dave as we take our work into all regions of the UK and the National Youth Jazz Summer School.

The Collective are pleased to announce that the 10 regions selected to host NYJCs workshops and performances for September 2009- April 2010 are: Birmingham, Cambridge, Cornwall, Devon, Huddersfield, Kendal, Lambeth, Norfolk, North East and Rotherham.

Recruitment

The National Youth Jazz Collective is currently seeking a Development Manager (please see job description). Interviews will be held on Friday 4th June 2010 at the National Youth Jazz Collective's new home, c/o Sound and Music, 3rd Floor, South Wing, Strand, London, WC2R 1LA

The application deadline date is Wednesday May 26th 2010.
